I saw that, too, but just assumed it was the AC compressor clutch he was referring to. I hope I'm right, or I'm gonna feel STUPID.

That'* great. Could be alot worse. Have you tried disconnecting the pigtail on the clutch?

No ihavent, I am not very proficient in how the Engine and car works. My dad used to be a Car Dealer now A General Manager at an Auto Auction, So I really only know values of Vehicles lol.

There'* a small bundle of wires that connect to the clutch assembly on the AC compressor. Just disconnect them and tie them out of the way if necessary. Then start your car and see if it'* any better.

I had the compressor blow on my 90 Cutlass about a month ago. There was a hell of alot of smoke, pulled the ac relay so I could still drive the car. The bearing started making weird noise a few days later and the sound travelled to the other side of the engine and it actually sounded like my tranny was screwed, SSEi95 and Deathrat heard the audio clip and said the same about the tranny part.

Ya well from inside my car it sounds like a got an old Muscle car. from out side it sounds like im dragging metal... well anyway its gettign fixed tomorow!!
