Is 60to 70 psi to high? It was scaring me. I just wanted to know.

Probably a bad sending unit. You can pick up a replacement at any parts store...

My service manual only goes up to '92 but what it shows for oil pressure is 60 @ 1850 RPM

Since I just replaced most of the gaskets in my engine, my oil pressure will be as high as 75 psi when cool, lower when warm.

Default oil pressure

Since I changed to the longer PF-52 filter my oil pressure is 65 - 70 psi when cold
then drops to about 55 when warmed up.
Should be no problem.
