Its broken....what is it?
Hi guys,
It'* me again.
Well, in my efforts to repair my GF'* car back to proper operations i've discovered this.
It'* located on the passenger side behind the oil filter. To me it looks like some sort of front/rear frame connection of sorts.
Any inputs on what this is and the illness caused by its breakage?
Thanks!

What kind of symptoms would this thing cause? Any allignment issues front/rear or is it just tranny related?
Gotta love these cars. I like 'em......its just never ending it seems!
Thanks Dan!

Hey Dan, we looked it up under trans mount and nothing comes up close.
They did have related parts and we found the TORQUE STRUT MOUNT that seems to be an exact match.
Here is a link on rockauto: RockAuto Parts Catalog
Anyway, it seems its only a $20 part.....thank God!

I'm sure it'* impressive, but you will need a really big hammer for this. The engine is going to be tipped a bit. Your going to need a engine lift or a bottle jack that you can place and lift.

Dan,
Thanks for the tip. Since i've got the entire car up on axle jacks right now, ill be able to use my hydro lift to get this thing in the position it needs to get to (hopefully). I already noticed that it was offset from the breakage. Hopefully it wont be that much of a PITA. I can just jack up the pass side of the engine while its on jacks to get this lined up.
Fingers crossed. Will update tomorrow.
Thanks Dan!
