Self Repair vs Auto Repair SHop? Car still at Casino....
Get this, My Bonnie was working just fine then after work one day I went to start it and nothing happened. I mean the Lights came on and stuff but I didnt here that clicking sound I normally do...anyway I think its the starter.... 92 sse I want to change it myself but I need a lil help, like cost of Parts vs just getting it fixed at the local Auto Repair Place.... Ive Changed my alternator and did minor repairs by myself.... If anyone could just post a pic where the starter is That would help me out alot, I think its right up close to the steering column but not sure.......

Starter is fairly easy to replace. Disconnect the battery cables then all the wires on the starter while noting their locations. Remove the starter. Starter is located at the front of the motor on drivers side. Very easy to see from under the car.
Before chaging the starter you'll want to check these things.
Does the security light turn off after the key is left in the run position for several seconds?
Will it start in neutral.
Check that both ends of all the battery cables are clean & tight.
Let us know what you find.

As Ted said, you should be able to handle a starter yourself, seeing as you're brave enough to do minor repairs. Make sure you ask plenty of questions if you're unsure about anything. I would highly recommend a Chiltons 28200 repair manual to help you with this and any other issues that may arise in the future.
