How do you get the ********* bolts off the TB underneath????

You need a decent set of wobbles or swivels for your sockets. It's doable.
A ratcheting wrench MIGHT make it in there. |
Mwuhahahahahaha! That is one thing I DO NOT miss about my 94. That was the biggest pain in the butt to do. But ya, Jason is right...good swivels. :wink:

A short socket, a 180* u-joint, a 12" extension and a 3/8" rachet. It's easy.

The L27 is worse by far than any other engine in the Bonnevilles. The L67 is a snap in comparison.
A wobble is the best way. And get some mechanics gloves. |
No need to remove the heat shield or anything like that. Dame's recommendation is how I used to do it on my 93. I could have the TB off in a matter of 15 minutes. ;)

Hey I just unbolted the upper intake and slid the whole assembly out backwards.... but then I was trying to get the upper intake off anyways so that just made it simpler. Dammed wobblers cost as much as a new intake gasket!
