Okay, back together and running just fine. Wow, I had forgotten how nice sounding the engine was before the coupler started going bad. It was something so gradual that I didn't notice until it was rattling big time (maybe after it broke... :? )

I guess I will know about those injectors (especially the one with no cap on it) after it is driven for a bit. Thanks to the guys who helped out.

www.gmpartsdirect.com and www.1stpontiacparts.com both carry injectors (though on 1st Pontiac I could only find non-*/c injectors - I dunno if NA and SC injectors are the same or not) for around $80, which is significantly cheaper than the dealer'* quoted price (though still a bummer for $500 worth of injectors :? ).

How much did you get this car for? For the amount of time/work/money you've put into it, I hope you picked it up for free, or close to it.

Thanks but another member has gaciously offered me a complete set for a great price which I am going to get from him.

I am a licensed technician so the labour is pretty cheap but the parts really add up. It is just one of those things. You love the car and put alot of money into it and the more you put into it the more you have to keep it. I do enjoy working on it though and if I wanted to replace it with a new Bonneville with the exact same options on it here in Canada, it would cost be $59,000. In that context, I don't find it too hard to drop a few hundred here and there.
