On my wife'* LeSabre, she tried to start it and nothing happened. I tried it a bit later and it started up, so I thought it was a quirk.
Later I unlocked and opened the passenger door and the horn started to honk, as well as an audible clicking inside the car and the clock light flashes. It continues for a minute or two after the car is started as well.
Why would it suddenly start and more importantly, how do I get it to stop? I've disconnected the horns, but need to get the car inspected.
Thanks

Kind of seems like the system is not properly deactivating. I will need to look in the FSMs to see how the alarm, doors, and maybe the VATS system (for your no start condition) are interrelated. Might be a moduel that is acting up on you.
