Hood dent, think its repairable without a new hood?
 

I have to use this pics again to show you guys. I know you're probably sick of seeing em but hopefully I get that digital camera I want for xmas :) . anyway if you look at the front of the car you see that 1) the hood is slightly offset, its slanted up towards the left. 2) there is a dent right smack in the middle of the hood.

If you remember a thread when we were complaining about deers, this was the cause of the dent. amazingly the paint looks fine where its dented and all. If ever I want to perfect my car and fix it, anyone know if its repairable without getting a whole new hood? And is there anyway imaginable that I can fix the slant myself? Also if any body experts around here can tell my how much such a repair may costs that'd be superb. Thanks again guys and may the curse avoid my fellow white bonnevilles

This is just an idea, but it works on getting dents out of my Jimmys hood, take a rubber mallet, and hit underneath the hood with some mild force, it shouldnt hurt your hood, as long as you dont hit it to hard. anybody else want to throw their hat into what they think about this idea :?: :?: :?:

When you do this, use a wooden block. If the paint is intact, you want to make sure you don't break it flattening it out. you're lucky with the paint though. It sounds like your hood needs to be re-gapped, and adjusted as well, but do this after you beat it.

Great, I thought about the wood block bit but wasn't sure since exterior is definitely my weak point on cars. I might wait till spring though unless I get some garage space soon. If I get the digital camera I'm planning on I'll post some pics of the finished job

White is a fairly common color (and because of the curse, there's plenty to choose from). I'd consider a hood from a wrecker. Even if it's the wrong grille, any 92-95 will work, and keep your grille.
