Default 92ssei vs. 97ssei injectors?

I'm wondering if the 92 ssei and the 97 ssei injectors are the same part/specs. and
interchangeable for troubleshooting purposes?

The reason I ask is because my 92 drives great at speed but has extremely rough idle.
(it always has been a little rough, but now real bad. Dealer years ago said I needed an upgraded computer chip and wanted to extract about $400 out of my @$$ for it when it seems to me GM shoulda made good
on a badly programmed chip, but I digress. Sorry). 97ssei idles and runs great. On the 92 the plugs and wires are new, IAC and EGR have been removed and cleaned, battery and connections checked, grounds recently cleaned, air and fuel filter new. Going to check for possible vacuum loss, but I don't think so.

I should mention the car has 302,000 miles on it, but still runs very strong. Recently noticed low oil pressure at idle, 40-50 psi running.

My primary question is at the top of this post. Any comments or suggestions on the rest is greatly
appreciated. I hope I haven't broken any forum rules.

Thanks, JB

o2 sensor? EGR valve sometimes wont respond to cleaning (My 93 SE is like this now) Maybe try a junkyard EGR(Make sure they have a return policy if it doesnt cure it) maf sensor might need cleaning. run some seafoam through it.

The injectors are different. 92'* are much smaller than the 97'*.

The part about cleaning the maf sensor with seafoam can you please expand on that a little more. It it just simply unbolt that sucker and spray in and out let it dry and then fire it up??
