Default parts for LIM UIM 99 L36

I need to replace the LIM gaskets on my 1999 Park Ave. The car has 120,000 miles and everyonce in a while I have to add a little anti freeze. I remember a few months back that someone posted a link to Automotive Parts Network - iNeedParts.com with a part number 17806 UIM. My understanding was that this was the best improved part to solve the problems with the factory UIM (it has the smaller EGR tube so the plastic won't get so hot). While I was ordering it I went ahead and ordered the LIM gaskets. The LIM gaskets they sold me were FEL-Pro PermaDryPlus part# MS 98014 T including the 'O' rings for the various fittings. My question is, did I get the right UIM and are the Fel-Pro LIM gaskets as good as the latast aluminum GM gaskets I have seen recommended on this site?

17806 isn't coming up on the Zone website. The best two intakes kits on teh market to my knowledge are the Dorman and APN kits.

The fel pro LIM gaskets will do the same thing as your stock gaskets. If you have not put them in, your best course of action would be to return them and get the alumunim framed ones from a dealer, ZZP or Intense-racing.

This is the link to the UIM. I thought that this was one of the ones recommended on this site. GM Intake Manifold Kit - iNeedParts.com
If the Fel-pro gasket is not going to perform like newest GM version I will not put it on the car. Do you know the part number for the GM gaskets?

SESI98 can you please post a picture of the Felpro lower intake manifold gaskets?

It sure would be nice to see a close up picture of those gaskets.

Default FelPro gaskets

Here is a close up of the FelPro gasket. See if this helps answer your question. It appears to be made of steel with some kind of rubber material to make the seal. There is a sleeve in each bolt hole, presumable so you can't over torque the gasket.
I checked the part number on the UIM and it appears that the manufacturer is ATP not APN. Does anyone have experience with the ATP #17806 UIM?

SSEI98
Thanks for posting the pictures.
Sorry for the delayed relay I lost this thread and am just now seeing that you posted the pictures. I must have something set up wrong in my user control panel.
