I am interested in this too, but I heard that with springs you gotta do the shocks as well, otherwise they will fail relatively soon.

well i want to drop the bonnie to get rid of the fender gap. im not a big fan of it myself and i want to tighten up the suspension too. yes the springs will give you a harder ride but ill deal with it. oh and you do have to get different struts, me personally i was thinkin about goin with kyb struts. any suggestions on this? (struts that is)

I'd like to drop the rear of mine, but only about 1 inch. Give it a "leveler" look. Right now, she looks like the butt is a little higher than the front.
Or not... She looks okay in that pic.....

My butt'* jacked into the sky, the subs help level her a little....
Smellbird got new struts, they aren' "needed" but you're putting more stress on whats in there already.
You'll most likely need a camber kit as well, smellbird only needed one bolt from it.. :? I've seen his car many many times (we live together in town, Purple SLE'* UNITE!) and riden in it as well. He can RAIL in corners, and it looks good. Definetly a good buy. He'* getting about a 1/5-1.75 actual drop from the 2 inchers. His summer tires are smaller then the stock as well.

Yeah, I got the 2" from DP and KYB struts. It'* a wise choice to do the shocks and springs. First of all since you got your suspension all apart why not throw in improved shocks as well? And second, your stock shocks probably arent going to last all that long with the added abuse so changing them out would be a good idea.
jgs11, check and see if you have Air Ride, if you do you'll need special shocks in the rear. Either way Ty from DP will set you up nicely.
I got a bunch of pics on my Car Domain site, they'll give you a good idea of what it should look like.

If you put drop springs in without replacing the struts, won't the ride leveler sense that the vehical is too low and keep pumping air into the shocks? I really don't have any clue how the ride leveling works.
