Default My, what nice struts you have.

I'd like to know what brand/model struts everyone is running. I need to replace mine, and I'd like to get something that make the car handle nice.
THanks,
Billy

Gabriel. I can't tell the difference from stock, so they do ok. At least they have a lifetime warranty.

Stockers on mine. What type of suspension do you have? Will that affect your decision?

That'* a good question to ask, since there were so many suspensions available. My shop checked my RPO codes before selecting struts.

KYB makes excellent struts for the Bonneville. It'll give it a much more sporty ride. It will ride more harsh though. also, Monroe makes a good luxury-type strut. They ride excellent. I had those on my lesabre, but they didn't handle great. I might go with Monroe sensa-trac struts on the riv soon, but I'm not sure yet.

I can't remember the "F" code off the top of my head, but I know it'* the second one up, it'* not the first, softest one.
It'* got the smaller rear sway bar.

Your rolling with FE2 or FE3. F41 is the stiffest for Bonnevilles

Get some struts specifically for FE2 and FE3 and you should be happy

I think it'* FE2.
How would I go about getting struts specifically for the FE2? When you ask for struts from the parts store, or online, they don't ask what the suspension code is, they just want to know year and make.

Ya, I doubt they would know the specifics, but if you know that you have FE2 and describe it as firm ride support. Then it may help them tell you what is best for your car. Or if you are doing it online, read the descriptions of the product and see what application best suits your car.

Just a thought

I always figured I had a stiffer stock suspension but the RPO said FE1 which was the soft ride I think.
I have KYB struts with Ty'* 2inch drop springs. Work great.
