Brake problems
I have noticed lately that my brake pedal seems to almost go to the floor sometimes only while im already stopped. It is extremely hard to keep the car stopped at a light for more than a few seconds, unless I push the pedal WAY down. It will pump up if I keep hitting the brakes repeatedly. I dont think its air in the lines because it has never done this before. It also seems to do it while im turning sharply and braking (like pulling into a parking space). BTW, the fluid level is full.
Any thoughts?? Im afraid im gonna rear-end someone at a light or somethin.
Thanks!
Ryan

i suspect you have a caliper or brake drum piston thingy that sprung a leak. take a look under your car, at the backs of the tires, and see if you see any wet stuff on one.
you may also have a blown master cylinder, if this is the case, you should see wet around the unit. i would check the wheels though, something like that happened on our Chrysler E-class. the brakes worked fine at first, and then would drop after you stopped and everything. this was also accompanied by the brake light. is this true?

Agree with Dame.. sounds exactly like a master cylinder. Most times you will not see a master cylinder leaking. It will only exhibit the symptoms you mention and scare you daily until it is fixed.
