Head-Light Turning Signals

Hey i was wondering an *easy* way to change the inner turning signal bulb in my headlights. I want to take the yellow one out and put in a clear one and put a green gel cap on it so my turning signal will be green. Anyone got any suggestions on an easy installation. Anything to watch out for?

You WILL get busted for changing turn signal colors......in time! You'll look cool goin' down, though!

Just remove the two knobs & pull the whole headlight assembly forward!

I have a pair of APC's 1157 Green Twist dual filament bulbs sittin around if you want those. They are in the package still. If you ever come into the northwest part of Indiana just let me know and you can pick em up, or I can ship em.

Hey guys, how would i go about getting into the bulb? I'm tryin to figure out how i can pull the headlight out or what i can do to change the bulb..AHH..death rat, when you say nobs do you mean the circles?

Hey, alien. The two thumbscrew knobs on the top of the assembly....big ones, about 1.25" in diameter. Just unscrew them, lift up slightly, and pull forward. Then you can disconnect everything and pull the assembly forward. Go up to Techinfo, there's a section on 'clearing' the yellow lenses for those. You won't have to worry about aiming. The aiming assembly is intrinsic to the mount. Piece of cake, one of the best modular headlight designs I've seen.
