Default Coolant temp runs at 205 when sitting, flushed and new thermo

ok i back flushed and refilled with all new Dexcool and a new 195 thermo drilled and now when driving ( outside temp 38 deg ) it runs at 195 perfect but when sitting it goes to 205 or 201 deg is this a problem ? I really dont want to change it all out again. It had a 195 thermo in it but it ran about 183 so i chgd it. Wont this heat up like a bugger in the summer, man I hope I dont have to rechange and put in a 185 I can't believe anything is plugged and ALL the air is out...HELP ! Thanks

No worries. While sitting still, your cooling system is going to warm up some when you are not moving which is normal.

This is normal. Your low speed fans come on around 212 and the high speeds at 225ish.

Cars with ecm'* usually run at about 220 Deg. F. That should be normal. if its cooler than that, your doing great.
