Got PEMS installed.

Car fully warmed up i'm getting maybe 2-4 degrees knock. Car runs alot better. You can really hear that supercharger now for sure. I also installed my new EGR valve I aquired yesterday for 21 bucks. :P All in all i'm very impressed. BTW air temperture was in the high 60's and I ran with all my fans and AC operating.

I'd still be concerned about that KR...

2-4 degrees of KR this time of year? You're in serious trouble. When the weather warms up, you'll have an engine-killer.

Are you asking for help with something, or is this just a General topic?

what more can I do or do I need to go back with a 2.3 pulley. I have done everything everyone else has and it's seems to be a lost cause. Also it just pulls the timing right before shifting. At full throttle I have no KR at all.

dillcc 03-24-2007 11:21 PM

KR at the shift point is a common occurance, although I'm not sure it should be totally ignored. I'd swap up a pulley size. I'm not sure if you've checked all this, but how's your fuel pressure, cat converter, fuel filter & pump, injectors?

You might want to try a high flow catalytic convertor.
Also, have you checked your fuel pressure?
Other things to check are:

dirty/clogged fuel injectors
fuel filter
vacuum leaks
exhaust leaks
pcv valve

fuel system is in good shape as is all exhaust components.
