Changing out headlight bulbs
I installed new Silverstar bulbs in my 2002 SSEI. The low beams were easy but when I whet too do the high beam on the passenger side the radiator is in the way so I cannot turn or pull out the bulb.!!
Do I have to remove the headlamp itself to get to the bulb?? That would really be a pain.
How do I remove the whole headlamp if that is what I have to do?

If you look in your manual, it states that the headlights are "easily" removable (Yea...right, as you have found). Especially if the radiator is still hot.
Further investigation shows that when replacing side marker lamps, the manual tell you to remove the headlamp assmbly. This is easily done...the picture in the manual shows the two bolts for each lamp. Simply remove them and the lamp assembly will swing out of the way far enough to get to any bulbs or connectors. The only caveat is to keep track of the two bolts. One is three times longer than the other, so don't get them mixed up.
Did you have any luck finding replacement fog lamp bulbs yet?
Jay

Thanks
Thanks Jay, I will give it a try. What manual are you referring to?
I went with the Nyokia fog lamps, they are 37watt instead of the stock 27watt. They are not soo blue that they look different than the silver stars, and they are brighter.I would have gone with all Nyokia lamps but they are not DOT approved for on road use. I travel alot from Maine to Virginia, sometimes I speed a bit and did not want to give anyone a reason to pull me over with non approved headlamps that look tooo bright. Probably would never happen I know. The SilverStars look great from the outside, bright, but from the inside I see blue not white, kinda of looks dark, wonder if thats from the windshiled on the 2002 tint for the HUD? I am sure i will keep the Silverstars, they were not cheap, but soo far except for the way they look from the outside, I could have stuck with the stock bulbs in terms of visability. The fog lamps do look alot brighter than the stock ones so I know the Nyokia headlamps would have too, maybe I can afford to change to them next year, but for now my money is in the Silverstars. Thanks Jay.

I am talking about the owners manual in the glove box. Its listed under
Service and Appearance Care -> Bulb Replacement -> Front Turn Signals and Parking Lamps
At least that how it is in my manual.

Fog lamp melted
I changed the OEM bulb in the fog lamps on my 2002 SSEI to a Nokya 37watt, 10 watts more than OEM. Looked great for a week. Last night I thought there was a mist in the fog lamp lenses and noticed the Nokya bulbs were melting the lenses of the lamps. CRAP!!
I am still under warrenty so I put the old bulbs back in and the dealership is replacing the lenses for free, oops howd that happen!!
Anyway, be warned that unless someone comes up with a 27 watt replacement is white light or blue, stick with the amber OEM or you may melt the lenses like I did.
The Silverstars I have in the headlamps seem to be doing fine, but they are the same wattage as the OEM so I do not expect problems anyway.

Are the Xenon Plasma bulbs you have #880??
Are they white, might match the Silverstars I have in the headlamps, thats waht I was trying for. I cannot figure out whay the Nokya bulbs melted the lenses, I see them for sale all over the internet. They were bright. Maybe I will try the Xenon Plasma if its an #880.
