Default Traction Control Issue

I have a 94' SE. The "traction off" light will come on sometimes and sometimes it will stay off. There is really no predicting whether it will be on or off. The T.C. may be working properly when i leave for a trip and then turn off for no reason during the drive to school or to work. I have done some research and I think it may have to do with the ETCBM but i really have no idea. The ABS is not at all affected and has worked great since i got this car. Any ideas, please help.

Thanks[/u]

Identifying which WSS has gone bad can be difficult with only a visual inspection. You will need to get the code scanned with a code reader (OBD1) to identify the bad sensor.

From there, install a new hub bearing. Unless you are having both ABS/TC issues your ETCBM is fine.

Good luck.

Let'* start off easy here. Jack the car up, and look for the connections at each wheel for the wheel speed sensors. This issue could be that one is not fully connected. Mortehl had this issue after I didn't address it.
