Default replaced ac pump, a left over part!

I replaced the ac pump with a re manufactured unit. I checked and double checked the replacement part to make sure it would fit before ordering it. They assured me it would be just fine.
The old pump had a high pressure switch in the back of a/c pump. The new one didn't. It mounted up fine, all other wires were fine. Question, if that switch isn't mounted into a/c pump how will I have to jump wires to fool the system so everything will work?

You don't, you need to take a pair of snap ring players and remove the C clip that holds the pressure switch in the old pump out and install the switch onto the new pump. The new pump should have a metal plug held in with a C clip and a O ring seals it. If the new pump doesn't have provisions for the high pressure switch you need to take it back and get the correct pump.
