Default High Speed Blower Fan Problem

I finally got the blower relay out from under the hood from this thread:

http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...886&highlight=

First off, I don't know what the purpose of pulling that relay out was. Randman, I'm not trying to sound ungrateful or ignorant, I just don't understand what the point was if there is a separate fuse or relay that does just the HIGH speed blower, which is what isn't working. When I pulled this one out all it did was take out the blower completely. Anyway, what I'm basically asking is this: is the fuse that was described in the post with the underhood picture as "MAIN" the high speed blower relay? Or is it something else. I pulled the "MAIN" relay out and nothing changed. The car still runs the same and everything works as far as I can tell (the same way as it has in the past, anyway). Is that the relay I need to replace? If anyone can help, please let me know. I've got to get this thing fixed. The blower doesn't put out enough on the second-to-highest speed to keep ANYONE cool in this car at all, unless you have it running for at least 45 minutes to an hour (rarely happens). Thanks in advance for any help.
