If you already had an SC engine then yes. That means you have one of the more rarer SSE'* with the SC option. The SSE/SC used the same engine as the SSEi. And any 92-93 SC would be the ideal replacement for it.

By the way brizzle, why are you wanting to change out your SC? The SC'* outlast the engine almost every time. It'* a rare (and I mean rare) case that the SC has a problem that can't be fixed for just a few bux. One example would be the coupler. It'* about a $20 part but most dealers will just replace the whole SC instead of takeing it apart and replaceing it. I'm just curious as to why yours needs replacement.

Well, I took the car to an automotive specialist here in my home town. He informed me that the supercharger was "fried" like chicken. The entire front section of the blower (nose housing) moves both laterally and vertically in an uncomfortable manner. I first thought that it was just the pulley, but later realized that it was the entire assembly (shaft included....not the superhero). There was also smoke billowing out of the supercharger while I was pulling it onto my friend Mike'* flatbed trailer. I fear that the worst is in store for that supercharger.

PS - I located a supercharger on EBAY for $185.00. I have placed a bid on it and hope that the results are in my favor.

On Ebay??? Got a link to the auction? There was a guy that used to sell them on EBAY as performace upgrades and called them "Floz". They were a HUGE rippoff. They also had some "issues" with them too. If you could either post a link or PM the link one of us can double check to make sure it is what you need.

If your nosedrive had that much motion, the bolts had to be loose, and you lost all your oil. Hence the smoke. You may only need a new nosedrive.
