By the way brizzle, why are you wanting to change out your SC? The SC'* outlast the engine almost every time. It'* a rare (and I mean rare) case that the SC has a problem that can't be fixed for just a few bux. One example would be the coupler. It'* about a $20 part but most dealers will just replace the whole SC instead of takeing it apart and replaceing it. I'm just curious as to why yours needs replacement.

Well, I took the car to an automotive specialist here in my home town. He informed me that the supercharger was "fried" like chicken. The entire front section of the blower (nose housing) moves both laterally and vertically in an uncomfortable manner. I first thought that it was just the pulley, but later realized that it was the entire assembly (shaft included....not the superhero). There was also smoke billowing out of the supercharger while I was pulling it onto my friend Mike'* flatbed trailer. I fear that the worst is in store for that supercharger.
