Default Car acting really weird

Well recently my car was been running really rough. This whole week its been sputtering while idling then when you gas it it hestiates and is really jitterier is the word i would use. So i took it to autozone to have them check it and it said a misfire in cylinder #3 which i thought it was weird becuase they wires and plugs are both only a few months old. So i just said ok n waited a few days n it was still doing it so i took it up there again to get some new spark plugs and had them scan it again. Still the same code(didnt have anything to write it down with) and i went inside and bought a new spark plug just for that cylinder and i got in and drove off and noticed it stopped acting weird no waring lights or anything and now its running fine again. But my ? is what do you think is causing this? the town i live in is pretty cheap and doesnt wanna pay the plow truck driver very much overtime so they dont plow the streets unless they have to so its made ruts and trails and made everything like your driving offroad on teh street so maybe something got knocked loose? any help would be great thanks!

If youre getting a misfire with new plugs and wires, my first thought would be an injector.

Is that the only code they scanned or did they have another one with the cylinder misfire?
