Put a little lube on it and slide it on. Just start on one side and go around. It will pop right on

I got 3 boxes of Felpro / Fuel Injector O-Ring kit 3 required 4 per box. They are all black so are they ok for both the top and bottom of the injector? I know some web sites say black goes on the top and brown or blue go on the bottom. So is both black good to go on each end? Thanks

As long as they are fuel resistant, there should be no problem.

Here is what it says about them:
Part Number: ES70599
Weight: 0.01 lbs
Notes: 3 required
Description: Fuel injector o-ring seals
Quantity: 1 per box
Abrasion And Chemical Resistant: Yes
Inner-Molded Flex-Cord Fibers: Yes
Heat And O-Zone Resistant: Yes
So I hope that means Fuel as well

I have never seen a FelPro any other color for FI o-rings when buying. Have used them top and bottom many times. You have no worries.

Although it would help me if you'd put that 96 into your sig so I stop thinking the parts won't fit the 94...lol

My question is will the oring go over the plastic pintle part without damage? My looks awful big? I just don't want to cause a fire with a leak if its none done right. I am still just a very basic shadetree mechanic here thanks. I know this is just a photo of an injector not one off on my car it is pouring down rain here and I didn't have a chance for a real picture.

The ring on the top of the injector is where the fuel pressure is located. These are very easy to do and have metal at the top. On the bottom the round piece is like a formica or plastic. Yes it can break if you don't treat the bottom gently. Although because they are held into the LIM/head it'* not a problem and the bottoms seal fine, plus they have no pressure at that point. You might with a bad lower ring get a vacuum leak, but never a fuel leak. Fuel leaks only happen at the top ring.
