my key won't come out....
i know was gonna be in the need of a new ignition cylinder {<~~right name? lol} since the key wouldn't turn backwards to access the accessory power..i could've lived without that for a while, but this makes it a bit more urgent. It did it once before...i turned into a parking space..went the shut car off, and the key didn't turn all the way back to right place. Started the car back up again, drove to another parking space, turned it off, and viola. This time howver, i didn't have time to do all that so the key is still sitting in the ignition
so how much can i expect to pay to get it replaced?

does it have to do with the way the steering wheel is pointed?? Try wiggling the wheel while trying to remove the key, its simple, but maybe it will work..
Not likely since you had problems with it before, but its worth a shot

Try FIRMLY putting the shifter in park a few times....sometimes that'* the case with my car. A new key cylinder is about 20-25 bux at the local parts hole....Easy to do yourself. I rate this about a 3 beer job.

yes i encountered this. My P/N interlock cable decided to not work one day and had to take the whole console out and move the cable a little. After about 2 hours i finally got the key out. I now dont need the button on the shifter to shift out of park sometimes :?
