Default 93 SSE hesitates when it rains, please help.

Hello everyone,
I have a 93 SSE thats giving me a problem.
Whenever it rains the car hesitates if I push the gas more than 10%
It only happens when it rains, on dry days I have no problems.
I replaced all the Sparkplugs and wires
Can it be a sensor somewhere?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Check engine light? Any codes? Let'* start there. Use the Techinfo article to pull your codes on a 93. Techinfo link at the top of the page.

Then make sure none of your plug wires are contacting metal. Dipstick tube, engine hoise brackets, alternator support bracket, O2 sensor, etc. Sometimes it'* easier to check this at night. Get a spray bottle with water in it and spray it over the engine in the dark while idling. Arcs will be very obvious.

Hello
There are no check engine lights.
It was doing it before I replaced the plugs and wires.
I will do what you suggested tonight and let you know.
A friend suggested a sensor inside the air intake. No sure what it'* called.
The car will do it after it has been raining for a while, not right away.
For example I was driving in a strong rain and for 1 hr it ran fine and then it started doing it.
If it sits while its raining, it does it right away when I start it.
The engine actually shakes when its doing it and looses some power.
I would like to fix it myself as a learning experience and to save money.

I will need to replace the exhaust system soon too.
Any ideas on where I can find a good price on the parts?
Thanks
