Default Security light wire?

I plan on adding the city lights in the headlight as a security light. Anybody know what wire to tap into so it goes off at the same time the security light does.

I don't know what you mean by "adding the city lights in the headlight," but you can use a 12V LED to act as a Security light when you switch off the car. Its positive lead should connect to an always-hot circuit (at the fusebox is one easy place to find one) and its negative lead should connect to a switched-hot circuit that will go dead when you switch off the car. On mine I used a tap into the Retained Accessory Power circuit at the fusebox, which turns on the LED as soon as I open a door to get out.

Radio Shack has part number 276-011, a 12-volt LED in a black plastic bezel that looks real nice in the dash. I have mine tucked into the gauge cluster below the tach, where it'* nice and visible from the outside.

P.*. Say, are you talking about those little strobes you can stick in your headlamps, foglamps or whatever, so they'll blink by themselves while your car is parked? If so, you _will_ need to make a connection like I describe if you want them to come on automatically after you switch off the car.

Also, forget the Security light anyway; that is driven by one of the on-board computers (I forget which), and only remains on for about 20 seconds after you lock the car; it doesn't stay on forever.
