Weird problem with my 1995 bonnie se series II
Yea my bonnie has a L36 in it and the shift points seem way high like 6k or mabey 5900 shift points and after like 5600 or 5700 rpm it seems to have a decent power decrease like it pulls nice up to those rpms then it wont pull as hard from like 5600-5700 to 5900-6000 rpm why is this possible problem with the car? Btw I just bought this car so I dont know much about this it always did that since I bought it it seems to be most noticeable when u get to the end of 2nd gear.....??? Why is this?

without a valve train work you are out of your powerband in the higher rpms. When you change out your rockers or say Cam the car, you can take advantage of the Higher shift points because the car makes power slightly higher in the Power band.
And at the Top of second and the Botton of third the NA cars have a sort of dead spot

5200 is the HP peak for a stock series II 3800 Vin K...
After 5200 the HP drops off... But yes the 95'* do seem to shift at 5900-6000 into second and then into third... Fuel cutoff at 6200

Don't hold the pedal to the floor until it screams "UNCLE!!!"
