I ordered a new fog light the other day thats currently traveling slowly through the mail. The original got ripped off by my g/f (the previous owner) when she drove too deep into a snow mound or something like that. Now installing it looks like a few screws and a wire plug in and bingo but just wanna confirm with the better knowledged. First car I had with fog lights equiped.

Another thing, to protect my car since I dont have another garage space and lost the fight with my parents' cars (even though they suck compared to mine), I was wondering if someone could recommend a good, cheap car cover to hold my baby against the rain. I bought one made by Bulge and it basically absorbed the rain like a paper towel and left it clung to my car. I was pretty pissed that morning.

Finally, I found a scratch of rust just above the rear passenger wheel. Now its barely noticable but rust is what claimed my previous car. Any suggestions on stopping it before it becomes an issue.

Car is a 1995 Bonneville SE with LE package if that makes a difference

Dont know if the 95 is exactly like the 94, but the 94 you unhook the electrical, then take off the bracket (2 bolts) with the fog light attached, and don't lose the u-nuts that the bolts came out of. You may need them for the new one.

When you get your new one on the car, the aim is supposed to be such that the top of the bright spot, when shone on a vertical wall 25 feet away... is supposed to be 2 inches below the hieight of the centre of the light on the car. On mine, I ran out of aming room on that bolt, so I cut up an old rubber floor mat to make "shims" between the aiming nut and the bracket.

Aim is expected to be done with 1/2 tank gas and no load.

It's expensive, but goes a very long way... 4 ounces will probably do a whole door..
Especially great for small surface rust area. You remove only the loose stuff, leave some rust. Thr product comes like milk, and chemically turns the rust black. A couple of coats will end up like a thick black "primer". You can sand that down and paint it.

Did a large area on the inner rear door of a 94 three years ago and it hasn't moved since.

Aaargh. By any chance have you looked _inside_ the wheel well there? Mine's rusting _through_ to the outside over both rear wheels in that same place. Looks like some bad seam welds over the rear wheels are allowing rainwater to seep in.
