Fog Lamp replacement

Fellow B'villers

My left fog lamp went out last night. I haven't had an opportunity to look at it yet, but do you know if it's just a bulb replacement or does the entire composite assembly need to be replaced like the headlight assembly?

Cost estimates?

Thanks

You can pick up a new bulb at any local autoparts store. The bulbs run about the same price as a standard headlight bulb. You can pop the hood and reach down to get to the backs of the light housings. They are the same connections as the headlight bulbs.

If you have the means, alot of us have moved to aftermarket fog/driving lights with good success. An aftermarket set will run ab round $60 complete and will give off better light. If you think you might want to go this route let us know and we can help you out. :D

the stock is 15W But there is a 50W one that will plug in to the stock conn and housing.
Take your old bulb in and compare.

Stock lamps are NOT 15W.

They're something like 38W on NEWER cars. I know in 93 they were 50 or 55 watts stock.

hi

Oddly, my LSS has 55w H1's when , according to an application catalog had a 28w 880 bulb.
