Fixed both intake gaskets?
So i scraped up some money from my uncle to help fix this repair. so we drained the engine did akll that needed to be done. Now after about 5 minutes of the car running the cylinders fill up with coolant and make the car misfire and stutter. we did a compression check and everything turned out ok. and we thought the head gasket, but the car is not burning white smoke. can someone help me. i am running out of patiences with this car in trying to revive it but it looks like it will go back for sale and get a new one afterwards.

Did you replace the upper intake yet?
yep replaced both gaskets and the old ones both showed sign of blowing out. so we replaced it and the coolant is still making its way into the cylinder.
hate to say it but did you check for a crack either in the intake or the heads?
yes everyting checked out fine.
The upper intake manifold (black plastic) is most likely leaking the coolant.
we checked and compared to a new one and there are no cracks or leaks. changed the TB gasket also so we know it is not from there either.
Unless your block is cracked, i belive that's the only way for it to come in. The Intake may be busted where you can't see it.

i ran outta patience with this car. it complete crap that i spent so much money keeping this car running smooth and this crap happens. I'm gonna throw it in the paper and see what happens. maybe in the future after i get back on my feet but for now driving a nissan NX. this car sucks but its the only resort

well since coolant is in the cylinders, you are going to have a problem with main bearing
and O2 sensor and the A cat so i would get rid of it there are coolant passages in the heads also thats just my .02 |
