You want a Actron CP9110 with the 84-95 GM cartridge, and OBD II cable.

And it seems like eBay is the main source for a new (but discontinued) CP9110.

Haven't dealt with him, but ebayers seem to be happy with "tradervar"

The GM cartridge is part # CP9111. The cable you need is #CP9115. If you can't get the cable (it'* getting rare), buy the scanner and GM module anyway and get back to this forum. We'll get you set up.

(You can also jump up to the Actron CP9145 scanner (pricier) if you think in the future you might be getting a '96 or newer GM. It'll do yours and the straight OBDII as well.)

I just picked up the Actron CP9190, and I'm really impressed.
I already had the CP9110 with the GM cartridge but the wifes car is ODB2 (and has been giving me troubles lately) so I wanted a newer scanner that could do ODB 1 & 2.

This scanner works just as well as the old one but it will work with All ODB2 vehicles plus older domestics and comes with the connectors for them. Its also upgradeable over the Net.

Here is were I got mine;

A good price and customer service (above), compared to what Actron wants when you buy direct from them (see link below)......

There'* your cable.

I have the pieces to make another in case I ever need one, but I currently use the Actron cable for 94/95. Slug has made a couple for members that work very well, or you can DIY:
