Hi. I've looked through 25 pages of posts re: HVAC and found nothing directly on point.
I have a problem in my HVAC system. In defroster mode, air flow is lower than I expect even with fan set to high. It also seems to be blowing coolant onto the windshield, as I have a constant foggy condition inside the car. The windshield fog is greasy, hence my thinking it'* coolant.
I also don't feel the airflow is sufficient while in heater mode.
I've read the posts re: air mix for temp control and don't feel THAT'* the problem. How are the doors controlled for the heat/defrost selection?
I had the heater core fixed some years back at a local dealer. Didn't they have a "Pay once and it will stay fixed" guarantee in 1998? If it'* something that should have been fixed then, I'll take it back to them. If it'* not, I'll get into it myself.
I appreciate all the help I see here, whether or not you're able to help me with this problem. You seem like a great bunch of folks who enjoy helping one another.
I'll hope to hear from somebody soon with some answers to my question.
Thanks.
Stay safe, and may God bless.
Peace.

Welcome abroad. A little while ago, I had the fogging problem and coolant smell in my Grand Am. It was the heater core that had to be replaced. It could be your heater core again.

I also suspect the heater core with a mild leak. Is there moisture on the floor? The airflow in mine also seems to slow down a little when I put it in defrost. I assumed it was normal, could be wrong.
