Need coil resistance readings
Please measure from post to post on each of your coils and state what kind of coil it is:
AC Delco Type 2 from 92 to 96 L67 and 92 1/2 to current L27 and L36
AC Delco Type 2 from 97 to current L67
MSD 8224
Other aftermarket
For starters:
TuType (97+ L67 AC Delco coils)
Stock Coils: 1st = unsteady reading 2nd = 5.57 & 3rd = 5.71
NEW MSD'*: 1st = 6.21; 2nd = 7.46 & 3rd = 7.64.
Willwren:
95 Stock Coils: 1st = 6.4; 2nd = 6.43 & 3rd = 6.3
93 MSD Coils: 1st = 3.06; 2nd = 3.4 & 3rd = 3.0
Billboost:
Billboost 97 L67 stock coils:

6.20k
6.23k

Funny that all 3 of my MSD'* are about half normal. I'm going to re-check them with my meter from work (both my personal meter and work meter are Fluke 87'*).

Note on my previous readings: all were within a few hundredths of the reported tenth.
Accel:
7.85, 7.96, 7.80
Interesting... almost all the MSD readings here are higher than the MSD coils I got from Comfycar. And, I've noticed a lot of square MSD coils lately, but the ones I have look just like a stock coil, but red with a MSD sticker. Mine were really matched, though, which I am happy about. These Accel readings are way higher than any readings I've seen before.

Original 96 Regal L36 Coils
Coil 6-3 = 5,38 K ohms
Coil 2-5 = 5,52 K ohms
Coil 4-1 = 5,45 K ohms
Wish I had a millihenry meter and a coil ringer.

Really confusing the crapp out of my self... I actually have 98 coils on the 91...
Forgot the first module and coils I got were from a 98... I simply attached those coils to the 93 ICM...

willwren how long have you had them? It looks like it is normal for MSD'* to take a dump around the 2 year mark. OEM coils > MSD coils
O by the way:
Stock '92 SSEi - Series 1 L67
Coil 6-3 = 6.48 K ohms
Coil 2-5 = 6.42 K ohms
Coil 4-1 = 6.54 K ohms
