Question What is different from 97-98

I have found a local one owner 98 Bonneville SE or sale with only 97k miles asking $4000 canadian obo. What if anything did they change from 97-98. I would like to replace my 97 with 150K. I am attaching couple of photos of the one for sale.

Not much changed. $4k seems high for that year.

I understand there are slight differences, the transmission is really only different at the diff and output shaft. The PCM is a bit faster and some sensors are different. Is that worth $4000? The heads on the engine are also slightly different and a little better on the 98

I looked at the car and it has the wheel well rust that mine has, though on this one it is just starting. he had the intake gasket done on it, an then it went again so another shop told him it was head gaskets so he had them do the head gaskets (dought that was a promlem on a 3800). The car has been rear end and repaired once. No idea have much damage was done. I think I will leave it alone.

All you have listed makes that car worth about $1500 or so. $4000 is way to high.
