Vent window prices!
Jesus these things are expensive. I had some jackass break out my driver side rear vent window and replacing it is digging deep in my wallet! I've called about 6 places now and the most expensive was $674 and the cheapest is $450. Thats crazy for that tiny little piece of glass! Local junk yards don't even carry it, I've called 4 already. Any ideas?

I should change that then claim it but then they have the whole police report **** and I gotta 'fake the funk' with them yada yada months later I get the window...*sigh* looks like i'm paying $450 plus tax. 8.4% tax here so that brings it up to about $4000. heh Damn expensive *** bonnevilles

Man that is way over priced. Go to www.car-part.com and search for your year, make and model and part you need. So your info would be 1993, Pontiac Bonneville (1980 and up), Rear Door Vent Glass, and you can also select a state if you want. The cheepest I saw is about $20.00 you would have to see if this is already out of the car. There salvage yard in Yakima, Wa that wants $35 for it but $130 if they remove it. But is still a lot less than $1300.

hmm i'll definately look into that but the kicker was (and this was explained) to get the glass isn't expensive its the molding that comes attached to it that is. I don't know how much of the difference the molding makes up but obviously quite a bit. Thank you for the info tho, I'll look into it right now.
