Default 95 SSEi HP?

Wondering what a 95 SSEi would have for horsepower,it is a brand new series 2 engine that was put in it,right from GM after the original went.I was reading that the first year for the series 2 SC'd had 225 hp.........true?

Thanks

I see......so that car would've came with a Series 1 SC'd engine originally?.......strange that GM would've replaced it with a series 2 SC'd 3800.Would that be a big job to convert it?It was a one owner car and I didn't think that they would've wanted to have it changed over to a series 2.It was an older couple that owned it since new.

Thansk Again

I'd be very surprised if you had a Series 2. The entire engine wiring harness and PCM would have to be replaced as well. A dealer wouldn't do this.

Do you have a picture of your engine? Can you describe the SC/Engine cover?

I'll bet you dollars to donuts that you're still Series 1. 225hp, 260tq.
