Default Engine stopped

Hi, guys,

when I hit the brake at the ramp, ater 20 minutes of highway driving, the engine suddenly stopped. Brakes, powersteering and everything else didn't work. Few second later, I started the engine and it was Ok.

What do I have to check first?. any idea?.
I have had bad TP(Throttle position sensor) for several months, is it related to this?.
By the way, two days ago suddenly I had a problem when I started the engine little bit.
it was cranked few times and worked ok. Everything is just ok now.

Need your help.

My bonny just hit 230,000 miles.

most likely the sending unit in the trunk. BM had a problem with the 92-93 not geting fuel when the cars made sharp freeway turns. I believe there was a recall in 93 for this problem

It also could be a EGR valve failure, When the egr valve gets stuck open your car will stall. But usually a good sign of it failing would be if your car was running really bad before it stalled.

Probably right.
the exit ramp was an ascent and it was little bit steep.
Some times i have 'service engine soon' on upward slope. I thoght it was because of TP sensor.

What do I do?.
Do you think a mechanic would find the problem?.
