95 Bonnie hesitates
I just purchased a used 95 Bonnie, 3.8L. Car has 166K and the engine either lopes or hesitates when you goose the throttle. Engine runs fine at idle. But the first 1000RPM it hestitates, after holding around 2000RPM and goosing it again, it spools up with no hesitation. I tried looking for vacuum leaks etc, looking at plugs etc etc. Can't duplicate. Anyhelp guys? BTW. EXCELLENT WEBSITE.

Welcome!
My first thought is either plugs or wires. For a 95, the wires may be the more important, because people tend to change plugs. Wires can cause the same problem, especially when they're old.
The other thought would be a fuel filter, but now we're talking a tuneup. I'd seriously just do it all, so you KNOW it'* been done. PCV, fuel filter, air filter, O2 sensor (ac delco ONLY), plugs, and wires.
If the problem is still there, get a scantool on that sucker and see what it'* telling you.

on the side note of what Mustafa ( Willwren ) say.. if you're going to put a scantool to it.. make sure it'* a OBD1 system with a OBD II interface/connector..

95 Bonnie hesitation
Thanks for replying back guys! So far, I had pulled out the airfilter and knocked the spider webs and shovel full of dirt out. That helped a little bit. Pulled the sparkplugs out and found they were .050 and not 0.060. "used calibrated feeler" That helped too. Gotta wait till payday to invest in some new wires and plugs to make sure. One thing that I have found so far that I like about the Bonneville is that the engine compartment is roomy enough to work in. No more busting knuckles in 87 GA!
