engine chatter after 3.4 pulley install

just installed a 3.4 sc pulley and am getting chatter on acceleration. is this due to the stock pcm? mods are cai, 180 stat, 104 autolites and 3.4 pulley. intense pcm is on the way along with hp tuner vcm program.
