Default Exhaust broke

Well, today I was cutting off my muffler to put on a flowmaster, and upon doing it, my exhaust pipe broke at the resonator. It looks to be like it was like that, but finally broke. Should I be able to put a reducer on it to fix it?

Hard to say. Depends on how it broke. Sometimes a half sleeve can be welded over the transition.

Alright, well you know how the exhaust pipe slides in the resonator and they welded it? It broke right at the weld, Apparently too much flexing took its toll.

You need to fully support the exhaust system when working on it.

I had it supported, apparently the pipe was hanging off by a small piece of weld that gave way when I loosened the muffler. Nothing a little ingenuity can fix.

Update - I don't have the money to fix the exhaust, I'm gonna use the money to get my CCR and my TPS connector so I can drive the car. One question though, how loud is the car without a muffler? I don't wanna get pulled over.

You are going to get pulled over. It is loud. If your going to attempt this anyway try to keep the rpms low.
