so ever since i put my rims on i been hearing a small scrape sound and i found it to be the drivers side rear wheel well hitting the tire when i hit a small bump.
it is only the drivers side rear that hits.. the passanger side dont..
and i also have a wobble when i brake and i also noticed just now looking at the car 2 things that scare me..

1- the rear drivers side wheel well sits almost a whole inch closer to the tire then the passanger side.. as like if the car is crooked..
2- both rear wheels apper to be facing in woods towards the shifter like if they are on a slight angle.?

i know this is not normal.. anyone have any ideas.. i appericate all your help and advice..

also should i not drive the car.?

1. what part? front, top, or rear?

2. get an alignment, a negative camber is killing your tire tread.

1- its hits the top of the wheel well.. need a pic?

2- is an allignment problem causing my rear tires to face inwards..?

i made an appointment tp get a wheel allignment but can anybody tell me why my one side is sitting lower in the back then the other..? could it be a bad spring or something..

Was it doing this before the new wheels? I'd guess not considering the timing of your post.

I suspect an installation error on your part, as crazy as that sounds.

Question, what size are your wheels and tires? Offset?

I mean I know the chances are remote, but maybe at some point the car was wrecked or somehow bent the back axle slightly? is it majorly wobbly when you drive?

I guess that coulc cause the wheels to sit funny inside the wheel wells and possibly be angled strangely. Most likely it'* just installation problems. The alignment is never a bad idea after putting on new rims or tires.

no.. actually it did not have this problem before i had the wheels PROFESIONALY put on because the original tires are 16'' and these are 20''.. if my 16''* were rubbing then that would have been a real issue..

but i think maybe the shocks and springs may be bad...

when i go food shopping and put stuff in the car then when i hit a small bump then the top of the back tire hits the wheel well... ( want some pics.)

my main concern is the wheel well ( metal part ) bouncing on the tire every bump i hit no matter how slow i go.. my wheel well on that side literally sits about 1 inch above the tire when the car is in park.. imagine when i hit a bump.. and the passenger side is different and dont rub in the back at all... and sits almost 2 inches higher then the tire on that side...

i tried to explain it better.. so does anyone else think its my shocks and springs..?


and if so do i have self leveling shock or air ride shocks in my 95 se..
( thats what they asked me at autozone when i went to price them..)?

rims- 20x8

tires- 245/35/20


i seen alot of 92-99 with 20'' rims and a 35 side wall.. so i know i should not have an issue... the front sits high enough on mine but just not the back..

and this is with out the speaker box in the trunk either...
