Default kr and pinging

I have a 93 ssei with 2.2 pulley gutted air box, colder plugs, flowmaster exhaust,180 stat, boost mod, tps mod, high speed fan switch. The car usually runs around 170 -180 degrees. I get massive amouts of kr to the point that the car actually pings. upwards of 20 degrees. I have changed the knock sensor and the computer with no difference. The car is giving no codes. Any ideas????
What is the average amount of spark advance that a car should have at wot? I have seen numbers as high as 50 degrees but not necessarily at wot
I have about 24 degrees at idle, is that correct?
The other thing is that when the car is pinging the scan tool shows no kr. When i let off the throttle the pinging goes away and then the scan tool shows kr.
My next idea is that the chip is screwed, reading on alldata the chip plays a major role in the control of kr, is this true?
Any advice would be appreciated !!!!

Do you have an aftermarket chip? If so trying replaceing with your stock one. Also if possible try a larger pulley. Pull your plugs, tell us how they look. Also scan your L-Trims.

What do you have for plugs? Tell me it'* not Bosch. I suggest NGK TR55 gapped at .050 or .055". I used to have a similar problem, though I never had a scantool on it, so I can't attest to that part. But the 1 range colder plugs certainly helped out.
