Default Questions on Tune UP ADVICE!

I bought my bonnie from a dealer. I have no idea if the tranny has been flushed recently, Can i possibly call them and ask them if they do that to their cars, or can/should i just do it, i have put roughly 10k on my car since i bought it and haven't flushed it because of the fear of blowing the tranny, (tranny went on my Mazda MX3 and im still paying for it!) so i REALLY need some advice. :?:

Also a mini walkthrough of a tune up/ reccomended things for it please
THANKS

There should be no fear of loosing the tranny if you flush it.
Regular maintence should include Engine oil and filter.
How many miles on the car? You may want to change out the fuel filter if the miles are high.

A good solid tune up would be plugs, wires, PCV, filters (fuel, air), tranny inspection (will determine if flush is necessary), brake inspection lines, rotors and pads, fuel lines, battery/alternator test etc

I expect to be doing all of these at my 160 000 km milestone or 100 000 miles

And what was said above is bang on too

And possibly an O2 sensor, as well as removing and cleaning the TB.

A tranny flush will only hurt if you have a very high milage car, and it'* not so hot inside. If it'* never been flushed, there could be gunk, contaminents, crud, insert undesirable thing in tranny, actually holding things together. When you flush it'll clean it out, and then whatever was held together will fall apart.

This is an extreme case, but do it now, and you'll never have to worry about this ever.

I think the brake lines are a bit much.... Maybe if you have a Suicidal 'rora...

After I bought my car, i did new
Air filter, (Fram)
Oil change (w/ filter)
Plugs (AC Delco)
Wires (Taylor),
Fuel Filter (AC Delco)

Tires had a slight leak, had them inspected and fixed, and now I have the cost of that, about $12, towards new tires if I buy from them. I also had to turn my rotors, it was their last time... TB cleaning/removal will help, and replacing the gasket is good insurance.

Give the engine a nice cleaning, so if you do have a problem it'* easier to diagnose.

Do you have the maintenance manual that came with the car?
