Default No EGR?

So I was reading about someone not having an EGR valve on the 3800? was this a factory thing? cause i took the egr off my sb 350 ...made a block plate for it...anything similar?

Since I'm the guy w/o the the EGR Valve, I wouldn't reccommend blocking off yours! I'm in the process of swapping in another lower intake manifold that HAS one. The 92 EGRless NA 3800 runs way hotter than all the other 3800'*. Because of this, I've got a burnt exhaust valve in cylinder # 6 & a crack in the LH exhaust manifold at the #3 bend too. GM didn't put one for this year because it passed "Emissions Testing" with out it. GM later discovered these problems & decided to install one again on all 93+'* to avoid this from happening. Our 3800'* are wee bit different from a SB Chev! First off our'* are completely computer controlled.
