Driver's side power window switch not working
 

I have a 92' SE with 72,000 miles on it, for the past few weeks when I try to put the window down the switch feels loose and the window won't go down! It works sometimes so I know the actuator isn't totally shot. All of the other electronics on the door work fine so its not the whole electrical system. Any ideas on whats wrong?

Sounds like you're having an issue with the switch. You can go to a junk yard and get a new (used) one for under $10. The switch just pops out and has an electrical connection on the bottem.

Mine went bad in my 93 as well. Doesn't seem to be too uncommon for them to fail in GM cars. :wink:

I've had the same problem on and off in the winters for last couple of years - in the summer, the switch works fine. I've been too lazy to replace it since I don't want to roll down the window in the winter anyway....
