Replacing Front Pads
I'm about fed up with the squealing from my front pads, so I picked up some new ones from the local Crappy Tire.
I've never actually replaced brake pads before, do I need any special tools of some sort?
I'm going to do my sway bar end links aswell, the ringing over every bump is aggitating to say the least.
Any tips for doing these or the pads would be appreciated

You'gonna need a big Allen style wrench (tell the parts store guy you need the tool for GM brakes) and a C Clamp.
A Chiltons or something similar will give you an easy step by step

I'm looking at my FSM and it doesn't say anything about the 'big allen style wrench'
what is it for exactly?
One other thing... 4. Mark the relationship of the wheel to the hub and bearing assembly
what does that mean?
Thanks for the help

The calipers are held on with a big allen head bolt. Don't remember the size, but when I got mine I walked in, said "I'm doing the brakes on my Chevy Astro..." and the guy turned around and grabbed a tool I could snap on my ratchet
A lot of the steps on that link are not necessary - I've never drained any brake fluid, just make sure the reservoir is open (unless it'* REALLY full). It'* hard as hell to compress the caliper if the fluid has nowhere to escape
As far as marking the alignment, that'* probably so the wheel goes back on at exactly the same place (who cares??)
