Put your hands on both sides of the window, and push down. Nothing? Check out the track for misalignment. Or really dry looking parts that look like they should slide.

Check the arm that connects the regulator to the lower frame of the window. Is it bent? Either up and down, or in and out? Hook it back up and try it, watch for what flexes or TRIES to move. Your problem will be FARTHER from the motor than that device.

ok i tryed to push down on the window and nothing moves.

and if i take that silver part off will anything fall? is anything important attached to the big silver piece?

Judging from the pic, and never having been in there, I'm guessing that "big silver piece" is a drip barrier. Helps keep any water that mey make it into the window track area from hitting any electronics. Again, just a guess based on the picture....

naw i mean the metal piece.

Uh, good luck removing the "big silver piece". Most everything is bolted to it. I wouldn't take it out.

No one ever takes out the big silver piece. It's baaaaad

Maybe something was caught in the track and it fell out?
