Need Your Help
i was sent here from PBN ST:A because im having problems with my bonneville
OK I have a 99 bonnevile se and it stopped working. The starter would hit but it wouldn't turn over. So we changed the starter and no luck. So we tried jumping it and it turned over once, then tried it again and it started but died after about 30 seconds. So we replaced the battery and it went back to clicking. Then i replaced all the spark plugs and spark plug wires and it turned over and wouldn't click at all, but it wouldn't start. So my mom called a wrecker and they took it to an auto place and they said the engine was locked up so i said bullshit because it would turn over and just wouldn't start. IDEAS ON WHATS WRONG please help
thanx

The intake gaskets or the upper intake (on non supercharged cars) can fail & fill a cylinder with coolant. Since the coolant won't compress the engine won't turn over. After a while the coolant can leak past the rings into the crankcase, at this point the engine will turn over but won't start because the spark plugs are still wet from the coolant.
I'd pull all six plugs & see if any are wet, then see if it turns over. PM me with your email address & I'll send you more info.

Ted'* suggestion was a keen insight on a not so uncommon problem with the 3800'*. How is the negative terminal where it bolts to the body?
