Sounds like you have air in the cooling system. Check that first.

How would air get in the system? It ran fine for months, and just today it started to overheat. I havent popped the rad cap in months. I checked the fuses and relays they look good, Dont understand why they wont come on when it gets to temp.

It'* possible you may be eating coolant. Pull your TB hose off along with the MAF screen and look past your throttle plate. Check for coolant pooling up in the plenum.

It'* usually the EGR stove pipe that causes the damage first. Lot'* of heat and plastic UIM'* don't mix well.

I know the computers tend to fail easily and I had trouble with the last one not fireing an injector few moths ago, think it might have something to do with it? Ill check the uim in the morning.

What? Not turning the fans on? Dunno. I'm looking it up in the FSM right now. But first, we need to find out why your engine is getting so darn hot. How'* the fluid level in the radiator?
