I believe your car has the 4t60e trans and I don't know of any shift kits for that trans. I do seem to remember Toddster adding something to his. He might be a good source of information.

TransGo makes a shift kit etc. The downside is it'* part of a full rebuild and can't be done w/o pulling the transmission.

So how terrible of a task would that be? could i do it myself if i had a couple days?

Pulling a trans apart is not something for the faint of heart. You need a very clean shop, and good manuals showing how everything goes together. I think Toddster used a vacuum controlled shift modulator or something like that. I seem to remember him saying it was easy to install.

Replacing the modulator on the front of the trans is an easy thing. Great idea Dan.

IIRC it'* about a $12 part and does help to firm shifts.
